Notes on installing Centos 3.8 on a RaQ XTR

Use the Centos 3.8 Server CD to install a basic setup on a hard drive

Download the XTR-2.4.tar.gz file to the machine

use the following to extract the kernel and modules:

tar -xvzf XTR-2.4.tar.gz -C /

This will give you a basic working XTR
You will need to setup networking and install panel scripts etc.
